FAQ's:
1) How did I hear about the 100 day project? Through several Instagram accounts I follow and am inspired by.
2) Why did I decide to complete the 100 day project? One of my goals for 2018 was to be more creative in my day to day life, even if it was only for 15 minutes.
3) Where did I come up with the idea for my hashtag of 100 days of exploring? I have my dear friend Rebekah to thank for that. She and I had coffee before the project started to brainstorm ideas and in the process we decided that my project didn't need to be limited to creative projects or art, but anything exploring related.
4) How did I decided what project I would do each day? I brainstormed a list of projects before I started and made sure I had plenty of supplies on hand. Some days I planned in advanced, but most days I just chose something that sounded fun.
5) What was my favorite project I did? I don't really have a favorite one if I'm honest, but there are several of the acrylic paintings that I really loved working on. I also loved working on the songs with JT.
6) Would I do another 100 day project? Absolutely, I loved the process and challenge. I have lots of ideas for different types of projects I could do.
Reflections:
1) The number on reaction I got from people was some version of: "I could never do that". That really surprised me. My creative friends, my mom friends, my younger friends, most everyone thought they would never be able to. It really is a commitment, but it is also so fun, and the best part is that you get to make the rules! It can be anything you want, and it doesn't have to take a lot of time. My rules were it had to be some sort of exploring and it had to take at least 15 minutes. 2) Some days I didn't want to, and that was totally okay. There was never a time I was mad about doing it. Even on the days that I was exhausted and didn't want to do anything, I was always happy that I took the time to do it.
3) I don't have to love every project that I do, and I don't, and that is totally okay.
4) I should share my art more.
5) I love inspiring others to be creative and would love to do more of that.
6) It is really intimidating to put things you create out to the public every day.
Now I have a few questions for you:
1) Would you ever do an 100 day project? If so, what would you call it?
2) What was your favorite project that I did?
3) What is something you love to do?
Thank you so much for following my 100 days of exploring!
