I love Fall.
There is no question in my mind, everything about it is wonderful.
So I decided to tell you guys all the things I love about fall, and also some things about this time that excite me! Be sure to comment what your favorite thing about fall is, what traditions you have for this time of year, or anything I should try this year!
1. I love cold weather, and fall causes me to have a small grain of hope that Georgia may get below 50 degrees again. God created Florida and the deserts in Africa for people who like heat, but I am not one of those people, nor will I ever be one. Ever. Seriously. No.
A. This is probably number too but it has to do with cold weather, so this is more of a sub reason. Sweaters, hoodies, and scarves! I shamelessly have more of these three items than anything else. I wear them year round, but this time of year when I wear them people don't look at me like I am crazy... okay, they will figure out that I am crazy soon enough, I might as well not spoil the surprise by my attire.
2. Coffee, tea, cider, hot chocolate, other hot beverages I cannot think of at this time... All of them are amazing. I don't really have a favorite drink, because they are all so amazing!!! What is your favorite?
3. Candles. This is a new favorite, so new that it started this afternoon. I know people love them, and I have always wanted to love them, but it never seemed reasonable for me to go and buy one for my whole house when it was liable to be knocked over or have someone blow it out from annoyance. But, yesterday I bought a "mulled cider" candle from Walmart. Now before any of you chastise me, I know Bath and Body Works has amazing candles, but I don't have the amazing $20 it takes to buy one, so I stuck with a basic $1.50 from Walmart. But seriously. It made my bedroom smell sooo good all day! So if you are looking for a cheaper alternative, till you can sell your kidney and buy a B&BW candle, try it.
4. Fires. Come on. They are fires. Brilliant in my mind.
5. Blankets, movies, and books. I love curl up in a cozy blanket and watching a movie or reading a book, I mean who doesn't. Crazy people that is who, but not the kind of crazy I am, the bad kind of crazy other people are. What is your favorite movie or book to enjoy during this time of year? Anne of Green Gables is one of mine.
6. Leaves. Maybe for the last few I will just list some, but aren't leaves pretty.
7. Pie.
8. Pie.
9. Walks in the brisk air.
10. The sky.
11. Journaling outside.
12. Chrisitmas shopping. Don't shoot me, I love buying gifts for people and so I do, even if it is still fall.
13. Hiking.
14. Thanksgiving.
15. The day after Halloween when all the candy goes on sale.
16. Because I didn't want just a list of 15.
There are so many more things I love about fall, but those are a few! Please leave a comment telling me some of the things I asked you up there!
Fun Facts:
1. I once bought a hoodie when it was 102 degrees outside.
2. I listed Pie twice. Why? Because it is amazing, and I love pie.
3. I used to collect leaves every year because they were so pretty, and every year I would get sad because they turned brown.
Thank you guys for reading this random post! Be on the look out for the weekly, and another post about the DR!
Oh and does anyone want to know what happened on December 3, 1845? Yeah? Hey me too, someone should find out and let me know :)
