It has officially been four months since I promised my forever and always to my husband.
In order to celebrate this momentous occasion, I have written a song,
or a cover of a song rather, about the biggest battle of every married couple ever.
The Battle of the Dishes
Sung to the tune of "Do you want to build a Snowman"
By Sarah Lewis
Are you going to do the dishes?
Yes, I do mean the dishes
I know that there is two whole plates
A glass or two and a giant frying pan
Yes, I know that you are tired
And want to go to sleep
But this might destroy us all
Are you going to do the dishes?
Yes, I do mean the dishes
Giant Sigh.....
What will we do tomorrow?
If we wake up and see
That plate still sitting there
Not washed with care
It'll be the end of me...
What do you mean we'll wash them?
We couldn't possibly
Wait to wash them then...
What do you mean we'll wash them?
How could we wait to wash them?
Tomorrow...
Thanks for doing the dishes JT, you're the best.
